The Michigan Osteopathic Association (MOA) has announced the formation of the first Physician Organization (PO), in Michigan to be started by an osteopathic organization. The MOA has partnered with MedNetOne Health Solutions (MNOHS) to create Healthcare Partners of Michigan (HCPM).

HCPM will deliver services and education to healthcare providers, helping them to address the demands of the changing world of healthcare head-on. With HCPM, providers will be able to transform their practices to manage complex government requirements and, in the process, improve the quality of care and patient outcomes.

Who may join?
Any health care professional may apply for membership.  The credentialing process is clearly outlined in the Healthcare Partners of Michigan (HCPM) Membership Policy/Procedure Manual.  The credentialing process may take from thirty to ninety days.  Upon acceptance, the applicants’ credentials are submitted to the health plan for processing.

What is the fee to join?

Michigan Osteopathic Association members: $250 the first year and $100 each year thereafter.
Non- Michigan Osteopathic Association members: $500 the first year and $100 each year thereafter

What support is provided for patient centered medical home (PCMH) designation and accreditation?
A PCMH implementation manager guides the practice through the process: from the initial assessment through the actual audit or payer review

An NCQA Certified Content Specialist is available to assist and guide the practice through the process of submitting an application to NCQA
