 Morris Cotton, CPP
Morris Cotton, CPP, Sr. System Director of Security for Beaumont Health. He started his career at Beaumont Health in 2007 as Director of Security.
He has over 17 years of experience in the healthcare setting prior to joining Beaumont, he worked for St. John Health System in Detroit Michigan as a Director of Security. He also has a very extensive Law Enforcement background serving over 25 years with the Highland Park Police and Fire Department where he obtained the rank Chief of Police. Morris is board-certified in Homeland Security and has obtained the highest level of board certification as a Certified Protection Professional (C.P.P.). He earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University and a Master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University.
