Oakland County Osteopathic Medical Association Is pleased to present A DAY OF PHYSICIAN WELLNESSFriday, March 29, 2019 9:00 AM – 4:00PM (Registration at 8:30 AM) Walsh College, 3838 Livernois Road, Troy, MI 48083 Spend a day with us as we discover how to develop a healthy strategy to maximize physician wellness in our personal and professional lives. *REGISTRATION/BREAKFAST 8:15 AM – 9:00 AM* Breakfast for Keynote Speaker 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM Family Medicine Physician Gregg Stefanek, DO Dr. Gregg Stefanek is a family medicine doctor in Alma, Michigan and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Covenant Healthcare-Saginaw and Mid-Michigan Medical Center-Gratiot. He received his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. General Sessions 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM Clinical Exercise Specialist Erica Ross, BS, ACSM Erica Ross graduated from Oakland University, with a Bachelor of Science in Wellness, Health Promotion, and Injury Prevention with a focus in Psychology. She has completed her Advanced Health and Fitness Specialist training through the American Council on Exercise and is a certified Health and Wellness Coach through the America College of Sports Medicine. *BREAK 10:30 AM – 10:45 AM* 10:45 AM – 11:45 AM Chef/Owner of Flowers of Vietnam Practicing Success George Azar George Azar is the son of Palestinian immigrants, and an OG Detroiter. He’s also a lover of Vietnamese food. When Azar couldn’t find a solid Vietnamese spot in his beloved Mexicantown neighborhood in Southwest Detroit, he decided to fill the void himself. |
